Services relevant to agriculture, forestry, aquaculture.

Provisions in the Agreements:

Only joint ventures or business cooperation contracts are allowed. The capital contribution of the foreign side must not exceed 51% of the legal capital of the joint venture.

No commitment to natural forest survey, assessment and exploitation services including logging and hunting, trapping of rare and precious wildlife, aerial photography, seeding and chemical spraying services chemicals by aircraft, managing genetic funds of plants, animals and microorganisms used in agriculture. To clarify the contents of the commitment, the breeding service and the development of the seed fund are within the scope of the commitment.

Access to certain geographical areas may be limited. To further clarify the content of the commitment, this restriction allows the maintenance or application of restrictions for the sake of national security and public order in accordance with Articles XIV and XIV bis of GATS.

Particularly, ACIA adds the following regulations: No investment licenses for foreign investors in the Service industries related to Fisheries, including:

+ Services related to the manufacture of fishing nets and twine for fisheries (CPC 88200)

+ Repair and maintenance services for fishing boats (CPC 88200)

+ Services related to fishing fresh water (CPC 88200)

+ Services related to quarantine, quality control of aquaculture and product processing (CPC 88200)

+ Services related to the processing and preservation of fishery products (CPC 8841)

+ Services for canning aquatic products (CPC 8841).
