| 6. Law of Vietnam | |||
| 6.1. Conditions for establishment of representative offices in Vietnam of foreign publishers and organizations issuing foreign publications: | |||
| – Foreign publishers, organizations issuing foreign publications (including enterprises and organizations established in foreign countries operating in multi-industry and multi-field including publishing and publishing publications) was allowed to set up a representative office in Vietnam after being licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications. | |||

6.3. - (1) Conditions for establishment: (i) Publishing house, publishing organization operating legally in foreign countries; (ii) The personnel to be appointed as the head of the representative office must permanently reside in Vietnam, have full civil act capacity as prescribed by law, have a university degree or higher, have not been in time being examined for penal liability or serving a legally effective judgment of a court; (iii) Having a representative office location; (2) Operational content: Representative offices must comply with the provisions of the Publication Law, this Decree and other provisions of Vietnamese law on representative offices and may perform the following activities: (i) To introduce, display, exhibit, advertise or otherwise in accordance with Vietnamese law on organizations and publications of the publisher or the organization that publishes the publication on his/her behalf. ; (ii) Support trade promotion activities, cooperation, exchange of copyright, publishing, printing and distribution of publications for publishers and publishing organizations on their behalf.
